USA Electoral Commission Releases Screening Results for 2025 Executive Aspirants

The UCH Students’ Association (USA) Electoral Commission on Tuesday released the official screening results for all 2025 executive aspirants, detailing who qualified, who was disqualified, and who withdrew from the race after assessments conducted by the Commission. The exercise was organized to verify eligibility and ensure that only competent candidates proceed to the ballot.

According to the results, 9 aspirants qualified, 4 were disqualified, and 1 withdrew from the race.

For the presidency, Lawrence Temidayo scored 86.2% and qualified. In the Vice-President category, Adedeji Favour was disqualified with 45.0%, while Okunowo Favour (78.0%) and Uma Oluchi (76.0%) both qualified. For General Secretary, Adelakin Selwa qualified with 79.0%, while Ayodele Oluwadamilola was disqualified with 40.4%.

In the Assistant General Secretary category, Angwe Favour qualified with 54.8%, whereas Sobowale Kunnumi was disqualified with 19.0%. For Financial Secretary, Falana Anuoluwapo withdrew, and Ogunleye Ayotomiwa qualified with 55.1%. Yusuf Al-Ameen, contesting for Treasurer, was disqualified with 24.8%.

The results further show that Abidoye Daniel qualified for Public Relations Officer with 70.0%, Adeji-Paul Promise qualified as Sports Secretary with 72.9%, and Idowu Oyindamola qualified for Social Director with 75.2%.
