At the UI’SU elections conducted online today, 13th of December, 2025, Adeboye Temidayo Sewanu emerged as the new Students’ Union President, defeating Olawoye Taiwo Emmanuel with 2,943 to 2,124 votes. Salawu Glory also defeated Ojo Adebimpe Oluwatoyin to become the new Vice Presdent. Fidelia Eghonghon Eseile scored some 900 more votes more than Adegboye Habeebullah Temitope to emerge the Assistant General Secretary. Odey John Onah however, narrowly edged out Sobowale Victoria Temiloluwa to emerge the Treasurer of the Union.
Other contestants who ran unopposed also won in the elections with Shontan Joshua Olusola emerging as the General Secretary, Tifase Oluwatimilehin as the House Secretary, Emmanuel Oluwasunkanmi Alabi as the Public Relations Officer and Siyanbade Adedamola Olalekan as the Sports Secretary.
