Kenneth Dike Library Set to Host Week-Long New Student Orientation/Registration

The Kenneth Dike Library, University of Ibadan, has announced its 2025/2026 New Student Orientation and Registration exercise on the 10th of April, 2026, scheduling activities to hold across five consecutive days at the library. According to the notice, all newly admitted students are required to present themselves with two passports and proof of studentship (acceptance fee receipt, school fee receipt, or any other proof) for registration.

The programme, which runs from the 13th to 17th of April, is organised in faculty groupings, with sessions running from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 12:30 – 2:30 PM each day.

The schedule is as follows: 

  • Faculties of Education and Multidisciplinary Studies for Monday, 13th April 2026. 
  • Faculties of Arts and Law, Tuesday, 14th April 2026.
  • Faculties of Agriculture, Environmental Design & Renewable Natural Resources, Wednesday, 15th April 2026
  • Faculties of Social Sciences and Economics Management Science, Thursday, 16th April 2026
  • Faculties of Science and Technology, Veterinary Medicine, Clinical Science, Public Health and Basic Medical Science, Friday, 17th April 2026

Authorities also urged all newly admitted students to take advantage of the early registration window to avoid the complications associated with late registration.
