90 Minutes Past Schedule, Congress Yet to Start

As of 11:30 a.m., one hour and thirty minutes after the scheduled time, the University of Ibadan Students’ Union Congress—announced to hold at 10:00 a.m. today at the SUB Foyer—is yet to commence.

Students continue to mill about at the SUB Foyer, with 125 attendees recorded as of press time, in part owing to minimal publicity from the UI’SU. With a Quorum of 500 required for a Congress to hold, it remains to be seen if attendance would meet the required quota.

No official update has been issued by the Union as students await further information.
