UIMSA Electoral Ban Lifted, 2024/2025 Election Season Begins

The University of Ibadan Medical Students’ Association (UIMSA) Electoral Commission has officially lifted the electoral ban for the 2024/2025 UIMSA elections as of 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Aspirants are advised to obtain nomination forms from their class electoral officers at a specified cost, and must have paid their UIMSA dues up to the 2024/2025 academic session to qualify.

All UIMSAites are encouraged to verify their registered email addresses with their class electoral officers in preparation for voting. Online registration and verification will run from Thursday, June 26 to Thursday, July 17, 2025.

The Electoral Commission wishes everyone a smooth election process.
