As a rite of honour to celebrate the life of Ifeloluwa Wisdom Akinmade, the University of Ibadan Medical Students’ Association, in collaboration with sister associations, Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall, and the University of Ibadan Students’ Union plans a candle light procession by 5PM, 6th of March, 2026, at the University of Ibadan.
In the release sent out by the association, it’s an opportunity to celebrate the life of a brother and colleague, and to stand together as a community in this difficult time. According to the flier, the takeoff point of the procession will be at Block B basement, Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall, University of Ibadan, and the dress code is black.
Members of the association on the clinical side, UCH, will be provided buses to transport them to the take-off point.
