UI’SU Secures Final 24-Hour Fee Deadline Extension

The University of Ibadan Students’ Union has secured a final 24-hour extension for school fee payment and course registration, following the portal’s closure on June 30, 2025. This comes after fresh negotiations with the University Management in response to student complaints.

The portal reopened 10 AM today, July 7, and will close finally by 10 AM tomorrow, July 8.

The Union stated: “Our commitment remains unwavering: to ensure that no student is left behind due to financial constraints or administrative lapses.”

Sunday Precious Nnamdi

Nnamdi Sunday is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Ibadan and a campus journalist with a strong focus on news reporting, health and creative writing. He currently serves as the News Editor and Deputy Editor-in-Chief (Clinicals) at UIMSA Press, having previously held the role of News Editor.
