UIMSA HOLDS PRECLINICAL ORIENTATION FOR 200-LEVEL STUDENTS 

On Saturday, the 12th of November, 2022, the University of Ibadan Medical Students Association held an orientation session for 200-level students at the Pre-Clinical Lecture Theatre, UI.

The event tagged ‘Metamorphosis: Becoming a stellar Medical student’  began at 10 AM. It was organized as part of activities for the administrative year; as seen in the released calendar. 

In attendance, were fourth-year medical student, Inioluwa John, who spoke on ‘Getting Distinctions: What it Entails’, third-year Abu-Idris Meliat, who spoke on ‘Navigating Relationships: A Guide to a Good Support System’ and another fourth-year, Oluwapelumi Akin-Ajani who spoke on ‘Balancing Academics with Extracurricular Activities.

Following each speaker, there was a Q&A session where attendees were able to make inquiries on various aspects of medical school and all that’s entailed. The event ended around 1:20 PM.
