UI Sets May 11 as Final School Fees Deadline, Warns Students to Act Fast

The University of Ibadan Students’ Union has announced in a notice dated today, April 28, 2026, a further extension of the school fees payment deadline to May 11, 2026.

While warning students not to expect another shift in date, the union said the decision followed continued discussions with the university management. The deadline had earlier moved from April 16 to April 30 before being pushed again to May 11, which has now been described as the final extension.

The union also reminded students that course registration is still linked to school fees payment and must be completed within the same period. According to the notice, the extension was granted due to challenges affecting students, including issues surrounding NELFUND disbursement and payment processes.

Students have now been urged to take advantage of the extra time, as further extensions may not be granted.
