According to a report relayed through the erstwhile Students’ Union President, Samson ‘HOST’ Tobiloba, from the UCH Chief Security Officer, Mr Seyi Oni, and UCH Public Relations Officer, Mrs Obafunmilayo Adetuyibi, the Minister of Power, Mr Bayo Adelabu, is to emerge in a short while to address the protesting UI students.
As of Press time, the UI’ SU President, Aweda Bolaji, alongside other Executives are at the scene of the protest, lending their voice to the demonstration. Efforts from certain officials to disperse the crowd proved abortive.
Today’s protest marks the second in a series against the now 101 Days protest, following a demonstration on the 22nd of January, 2025, at the Oyo State Secretariat and Federal Secretariat, Ikolaba.
