In the spirit of the 63rd Health Week of the University of Ibadan Medical Students’ Association (UIMSA), the Inter-Medical Students’ Group (IMSG) Quiz commenced yesterday at the Paul Hendrickse Lecture Theatre, University College Hospital, Ibadan.
The programme, which began shortly after 11:00 a.m., was expertly anchored by Dr. Adegbite and featured various rounds of questions spanning General Knowledge, General Science, Mathematics and Logic, Riddles, Basic Medical Sciences, and Clinical Sciences.
The 2k27 class delivered an impressive performance, dominating in General Knowledge, General Science, and Mathematics. Meanwhile, the 2k21 class led in Basic Medical Sciences, and the 2k23 class stood out in the Clinical Sciences category.
After a series of keenly contested rounds, the quiz concluded with a tie for the top spot between the 2k27 and 2k23 classes, both scoring 83 points. The 2k21 class followed with 73 points, while the 2k25 class secured 71 points. The 2k24 and 2k26 classes scored 59 and 47 points, respectively, and were eliminated from the competition.
The programme wrapped up around 3:00 p.m., with the 2k27, 2k23, and 2k25 classes advancing to the final rounds of the quiz.
