The 2022 Homecoming Events of the Ibadan College of Medicine Alumni Association (ICOMMA) Worldwide are slated to start on Monday, 7th of November. The events are spread throughout the week, from Monday to Friday, most of which will take place at the Paul Hendrickse Lecture Theatre and Osuntokun Hall in University College Hospital (UCH).
The Homecoming schedule boasts different activities all aimed at providing a robust experience to alumni and students. The week will start off with courtesy visits from members of the alumni association and a press conference. This will be followed by Alumni Activities on Tuesday. On Wednesday, we have the 2022 Ibadan Medical Specialist Group (IMSG) Annual Symposium themed ‘Sickle Cell Disease’, and the Student’s Art and Craft Day tagged ‘Made in Ibadan’. A significant highlight of the Student’s Art and Craft Day is the Talent Hunt where students get an opportunity to showcase their skills and have the chance to win cash prizes.
The 23rd Distinguished Alumni Lecture will hold on Thursday, and the events of the week will be rounded off by the Elders Forum on Friday.
Students have been implored to attend as the Home-Coming events present an avenue for more alumni-student interactions.
