Clinical Sciences Clinches Key Win Against Economics at Jaw War Faculty First Round

The Faculty of Clinical Sciences emerged as one of the top performers in the latest round of Jaw War, held on Wednesday, September 18, at the NFLT hall. Clinical Sciences secured a convincing 74.66% to 71.25% victory over the Faculty of Economics to advance to the round of 10.

Other results from the round included narrow and wide-margin wins across several faculties. The Faculty of Science defeated Basic Medical Sciences (67.58% to 66.58%, while Nursing edged Public Health 66.75% to 63.08%. Technology earned a clear win over Environmental Design and Management with 73.98% to 61.83%), and Education defeated Renewable Natural Resources 70.58% to 64.23%. Dentistry prevailed against Agriculture 69% to 64.58%, Law recorded the widest margin against Arts 77.33% to 60.03%, and Veterinary Medicine overcame Pharmacy 72.5% to 66.33%.

Special recognition went to Akinlawon Goodluck of the Faculty of Law, who was named Best Speaker, with her partner, Michael Olaguwon, announced as one of the runners-up. The Faculty of Economics, despite their loss, received the Best Loser Award for their strong performance.
