Emmanuel ‘Femzy’ Adesokan Emerges New Sigma Chief

600 Level Dentistry and Dental Surgery student, Emmanuel Adesokan, emerged as the new Sigma Chief of the Sigma Club, UI, after the handover election exercise that ushered in new executives for the new Sigma year at the Old Junior Common Room (JCR), Lord Tedder Hall, on March 21, 2026.

What started by 10am was a meeting to present financial reports to close the Sigma year and conduct an election exercise to appoint the executives for the new Sigma year. After all checks and balances, the election was conducted and these are the new executives:

Sigma Chief — Emmanuel Adesokan, 600L BDS student.

Deputy Chief — Loyalist Faith Babatunde, 400L Law student.

Chief Scribe — Loyalist Anthony Adeyeye, 400L, Civil Engineering student.

Deputy Scribe– Loyalist Testimony Alabi, 300L Human Nutrition and Dietetics student.

Financial Scribe — Loyalist Daniel Promise Onome, 400L Computer Science student.

Sigma Treasurer — Loyalist Daniel Bright Oghenetega, 500L MBBS Student.

Investment and Special Duties — Loyalist Toyeeb Salawu , 500L MBBS student.

Security Committee Chairman — Loyalist Clement Okwuowulu, 500L BDS student.

Publicity Committee Chairman — Loyalist Phillipson Suliamon, 400L Geology student.

The meeting ended 7am on March 22, 2026.
