Obafemi Awolowo, Sultan Bello, Ransom Kuti, Independence and Lord Tedder Halls have advanced to the next round of Jaw War 2026 after winning their respective Inter-Hall ties on aggregate. Alexander Brown Hall (ABH) also secured a place in the next round as the Best Loser.
Obafemi Awolowo defeated Kenneth Mellanby 76.05% to 72.85% in the second leg to win 76.1% to 69.6% on aggregate. Sultan Bello, despite losing the first leg to ABH 76.3% to 79.65%, won by 6 points in the second leg and progressed with a 76.3% to 74.97% aggregate score, while ABH advanced as the best loser.
Ransom Kuti defeated Nnamdi Azikwe 73.3% to 71.3%, finishing the tie 76.3% to 73.7% on aggregate. Independence Hall also maintained its advantage over Queen Idia, winning the second leg 81.65% to 68.6% and the tie 82.4% to 71.7% overall.
Lord Tedder completed the winners, defeating Queen Elizabeth II 78.6% to 60.6% in the second leg and securing a 79.9% to 66.7% aggregate victory. According to the draws, ABH, having progressed as the Best Loser, will face Lord Tedder in the next round.
