A 500 level UIMSAite (2k20), Honorable Olamide Omotunde, representing Alexander Brown Hall of Residence has emerged Speaker for the 10th Assembly, University of Ibadan Students’ Representative Council (UI SRC).
The plenary meeting was held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, in the SRC Chamber of the Kunle Adepeju Building at the University of Ibadan, with 114 honorable members in attendance. Elected through a closed ballot, Honorable Olamide Omotunde emerged with a majority vote of fifty-seven (57) against his contender, Honorable Gbenuola Oluwole Fopefoluwa who obtained a lesser fifty-five votes. Two (2) void votes were also recorded.
